my story.

I am Pam Dennis, a happily married mama, a dog-lover, a fan of good food and a nice glass of wine. I enjoy my gardens and hiking the beautiful trails of British Columbia, Canada.  With a Business Degree and a background in hospitality and corporate event planning, writing has always been my go-to creative outlet. Over the past two decades, I have dabbled in writing many stories for my kids, and somewhere along the way, I had the thought of maybe publishing one of them someday.

It took a global pandemic with stay-home guidelines and a full house (five people, three generations, plus two fur babies) to get me to my someday. Writing children’s stories is that part of me I cannot turn off. Inspiration for my storylines comes from things I see and hear all around me. I am a self-taught illustrator, using a digital sketching program to create my artwork.

 I am so grateful for the encouragement of my family; they have given me the runway to go after my dreams.
